QA

Important Rules for QA Specialists

1. To ALWAYS document the testing results with as much details as possible: date/time, environment, browsers, devices, OS, steps to reproduce, etc.

2. To ALWAYS report all the bugs and improvements. They might seem very minor, very rare, very non-typical but they SHOULD be reported. For the Customer they might seem huge errors.

3. To ALWAYS create a document/email with all the major/minor bugs found in the Release Candidate product with recommendation to fix the bugs before giving the product to the Customer or before Release. It will allow the Project Manager to make a decision! And release at his/her risk!

4. To ALWAYS tend to help creating the BEST PRODUCT/SERVICE possible with the help of proper PLANNING, TEST DESIGN, TESTING, REPORTING, INFORMING ALL INVOLVED ABOUT DISCREPANCY BETWEEN ACTUAL RESULT AND EXPECTED! QA is there for the Customer and his/her product, not for Developer or Project Manager. When Customer pays for QA, he expects QA to care for his interests and not allow deliver bad product.

5. To ALWAYS tend to make testing effective and time-efficient using the newest tools and methods.

Mailinator is your Second Inbox!

https://www.mailinator.com/

What is Mailinator?

The Public Mailinator site is a different kind of email service. The biggest difference is that you don't need to sign up. Any email name you can think of already exists @mailinator.com and you can use any of them. Want BrianTheSkink@mailinator.com? You got it. Want PrettyMothra? ScaryGavyn? No problem. Those and any other mailboxes you think of @mailinator.com are created when email arrives! Really. Other differences of the Public Mailinator system include:

All Emails automatically delete after a few hours
You cannot SEND from Mailinator - it is a receive-only service
All email is public. Really - very very public. All Email is readable by anyone and no one "owns" an inbox or emails.
